This was such a fun event. Once again, we returned to Lindell mall. I didn’t sell great, but I had an even better experience.
First off, I met an amazing person Shakyra Dunn. A great young author full of spunk. I had such a wonderful time with her.
On top of that I had the opportunity to bring another author’s books to my table. He had been sick with chemo and couldn’t make it. He sent me four of his books. The people there were wonderful and I sold every one of them! It was so wonderful to take the cash and give it to him. I love helping my fellow authors.
Ohhh grand AnimeIowa. It’s something so near and dear to me. This year I had wonderful opportunity to launch my newest book, Beast Masters, there. It was great to set up a booth and give away prizes to many wonderful people.
The costumes were awesome! Mine was sub-par, but gave me inspiration to up my cosplay game. My favorite is always Thor. Talk about man candy. When taking the picture with him he asked if he could put his arm around me. Oh dam, I about blurted out, “You can put your hand anywhere!” That might have been too much. I’m pretty sure I just blushed and said yes.
On top of selling my books I also ran tournaments with the Iowa Pokemon Battle Frontier. These guys were the inspiration for my characters in my new book. I tried to keep the book’s characters very close to the real people. This was so wonderful because it kept my characters unique and dynamic. I can’t wait to return next year selling books, running tournaments, and maybe having a writing panel.
If you didn't get my book at the event please click the picture above to check it out on my website.
Several weeks ago I launched my paranormal romance, Creating Grace, at my Other Worlds Book Launch. I loved working with the Des Moines New Ago Shop to set this us. Their space was wonderful. It had an amazing feel. On top of that, turn out was great! So many wonderful people came by to support their local authors.
I'm bad with having my picture taken. But it was so much fun. I was joined by amazing authors including Bryce Hana, Stephen Brayton, Jarod Meyer, and Ashley Lovell.
This super good looking guy here is author Jarod Meyer. He really inspired me to make a good show of my books signings. He said he always tried to look the part of an author. I still haven't decided if that means I need to break out my dress or corset. Maybe both!
This lady here is one of my biggest fans and also the winner of the Other Words Book Launch door prize. She said, "I never win anything." To see her so excited makes me so happy. It's always a race when I get my next book out weather she or my dad gets to it first.
This event made a great launch for my new hot Paranormal Romance. Please click the image above to learn more. It's not even day Lucifer loses the woman he wants to a archangel.
