Now don’t throw a fit, but yes, I have a huge man crush on Legolas. His confident demeanor, stunning eyes, and that HAIR! What girl can ignore the elf hair? Also, his voice was such a sweet combination of youth and sexy. When adding some elves into my Succubus Curse Series coming out I decided to model my character Galen after Legolas, but more modern with a touch more boyish charm.
Birds chattered in high trees where beams of golden rays cut through the thick canopy and dotted the lush grass. Legolas stepped with an elf’s lightness. A tiny hair like tendril glistened in the sun. He held out his hands, cupping his long fingers, to catch a bright yellow spider.
“You’re a little far from home.” He knelt down, releasing the small creature into the grass.
His silvery blonde hand fell over his shoulder. He tucked it back behind his pointed ears and then picked a single loose hair from his emerald tunic. He stood and stretched his tall lean body. The tired coiled muscles of his back loosened.
A breeze moved the warm air and made the trees sing their beautiful music. He drew it all in, taking note of every detail with his vibrant blue eyes. Each bush loaded with bowing leaves. Each flower moving in the wind like an elegant dancer. Stoic trees standing like tall sentries around his childhood home.
Tension grew in his chest. A tear burned at his eye. He clenched his fist and fought it back, not giving in to his emotion. He filled his lungs with the smell of earth and sweet new blooms. He needed to focus. He had to remain strong for his upcoming journey. The emotions broke and a single tear fell to the soil he’d never set foot on again.
Such a sweet image. So intense. I just wrote this for fun, but now I may need to add this to a story.
